Safer Browsing

Safer browsing allows your web history to remain hidden, here are some helful hints:

Incognito Mode

1. Open Mozilla Firefox
2. Select three horizontal lines on the top right hand corner of the Mozilla Firefox browser
3. Select "New Private Window"

1. Open Google Chrome Browser
2. Select the three Vertical dots on the top right hand corner of the Google Chrome
3. Select "New Incognito Window"

1. Open Safari Browser
2. Select Cog Icon on the top right corner of the Safari Browser
3. Select "Private Browsing"
4. Click "Ok"

Deleting Cookie History

1. Open Mozilla Firefox
2. Select three horizontal lines on the top right hand corner of the Mozilla Firefox browser
3. Select "options"
4. Select "Privacy and Security" on the left hand panel
5. Underneath "Cookies and Site Data click on "Clear Data"
6. Tick both boxes and click "Clear"

1. Open Google Chrome Browser
2. Select the three Vertical dots on the top right hand corner of the Google Chrome
3. Select "More tools"
4. Select "Clear Browsing Data"
5. Set the "Time range" to "All time" and check all three boxes and click "Clear data"

1. Open Safari Browser
2. Select Cog Icon on the top right corner of the Safari Browser
3. Select "History"
4. Highlight URL you would like to delete
5. Right click and click "Delete"
